Job Title: NECA Apprentice Electrician

Summary:
Assist licensed electricians with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings while completing a structured apprenticeship program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install electrical wiring, conduit, cable trays, outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and electrical specifications.
• Assist with troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment safely.
• Pull wire and bend/install conduit.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Follow the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) safety standards and the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Attend required classroom instruction and complete coursework.
• Work under the supervision of licensed journeyman or master electricians.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license (often required).
• Ability to lift 50–75 pounds.
• Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and outdoors in varying weather.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and basic math skills.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to job sites if required.
